Objective of CIDCO Lottery

The objective of the Government of Maharashtra behind starting the CIDCO lottery scheme is to provide housing facilities to the economically weaker section and lower income group. Under this scheme, people of the Maharashtra state will be able to get well-constructed houses at reasonable rates. Selection of the candidates will be made through a lottery system.

Eligibility Criteria

All those citizens of Maharashtra state who meet the following eligibility criteria will be able to get the benefits of the scheme:

Should be a permanent resident of Maharashtra
Should belong to EWS or LIG category
Should not have monthly income more than Rs. 25000/- if belongs to Economically Weaker Section category
Should not have monthly income of more than rupees 50000 and less than rupees 25000 if belongs to low-income group category
