Implementation Process
69% of the country’s youth population between the age of 18 to 34 years are living in rural areas. Out of these near about 55 million youth belongs to poor families with no or marginal employment number. The country is going to train the youth and place them in jobs across the world and realize its demographic dividend. Currently, this scheme is implemented in 28 states and UTs across 689 districts impacting youth from over 7426 blocks. Over 1575 projects are being implemented currently by over 717 partners in more than 502 trades from 50 industry sectors currently. Approximately 9.9 lakh candidates have been trained and over 5.3 lakh candidates have been placed in the job as of the first of April 2020. Benefits Of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana
- Beneficiaries will get free skill training at the training centers
- Beneficiaries need not pay any registration charges or examination or certificate charges or placement charges
- Applicants will get another card or similar biometric identification card
- Applicants will also get a bank account in their name
- Applicants will get completely free food and accommodation in a residential training program
- Applicants will get reimbursement of PO and FLO and meal cost transfer directly to the bank account of the beneficiary
- Beneficiaries will also get free uniform books and learning material
- Beneficiaries will get access to a computer at the computer lab with working internet.

- Job interview and placement opportunity with a minimum salary of rupees 6000 per month
- DDU-GKY skill training certificate from NCVT or SSC after successful completion of the training.

- Rupees 4500 one time for travel to or from the placement to or from your home
- Rupees 5000 per month stripping for 12 months from the start of the job
- After successful completion of the training job with a minimum salary of rupees 10,000 per month
- Applicants will also get the opportunity to get a foreign job with a minimum salary of US dollar $500 per month which is approximately 30,000 rupees.

Eligibility Criteria
