To uplift the social status of female citizens in Haryana state the Haryana state government launched the Haryana Electric Scooter Scheme. The Chief Minister of Haryana state Mr Manohar Lal Khattar said that the scheme will increase the standard of living of daughters of the construction workers in the Haryana state. This scheme will provide interest-free loans or subsidies for the purchase of electric scooters in Haryana state by female citizens. The applicants can do door-to-door services like Uber or Zomato with the help of the electric scooter given by the Haryana state government.

The objective of Haryana Electric Scooter Scheme
The main objective of launching the Haryana electric scooter scheme is to provide loans and subsidies for the purchase of electronic scooters in Haryana state. A subsidy of INR 5000 will be given to the selected applicants under the electric scooter scheme. Under the scheme, the Government of Haryana state will provide financial assistance of up to Rs 50,000, or the actual ex-showroom price, whichever is less. Only the permanent residents of Haryana state who are the daughters of construction workers are eligible to avail the benefits of the scheme.
