Intercaste Marriage Scheme Punjab 2024 was launched in the Punjab state. All the citizens of Punjab state who want to have intercourse marriage can avail the benefits of the Intercaste Marriage Scheme Punjab 2024. This scheme will provide financial assistance to the applicants who want to have inter-caste marriage in Punjab state. The state government of Punjab State will provide financial assistance of INR 2.5 lakh to the selected candidates. The financial assistance of INR 75,000 will be given to the selected couple in a lump sum from the welfare organization. The rest of the financial assistance will be given in various installments over some time.  With the help of this scheme, the applicants can get all the expenses that occur in a marriage from the state government.

The main objective of launching the Intercaste Marriage Scheme Punjab is to encourage inter-caste marriage in the state. This scheme will remove the toxic mentality of people towards the members of the scheduled caste and tribe. Eligibility Criteria

• One of the brides or room must be a member of the Schedule Caste community.
• Only the permanent resident of Punjab state can available the benefits of this scheme.
• The legal age of marriage is 18 years which must cross beneficiaries of inter inter-caste marriage scheme.
• The applicant must have a joint bank account to receive financial assistance.
• Both partners of marriage are required to provide a certified registration certificate issued by an authorized entity.
• The bride must be at least 18 years old, and the groom must be at least 21 years old.
