NMMS Scholarship Scheme 2024: Do Registration and Check Eligibility

The Government of India launched the NMMS Scholarship Scheme 2024. To help all the meritorious students from class 9th to 12th get financial assistance the Government of India announce the launch of the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship. With the help of this scheme, financially unstable students can achieve their dreams and build their careers with the help of education. With the help of financial assistance, the applicants did not have to worry about the fees of their schools. The applicants must fill out the application form on the official website to avail the benefits of the Scholarship Scheme 2024.

National Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme (NMMS)

To provide financial assistance to the meritorious students from classes 9th to 12th the Government of India launched the National Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme. All the students studying in government or government-aided schools in India are eligible to take participation in National Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme. All the applicants who will get selected for the National Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme will get financial assistance of INR 12,000 annually from the Department of School Education & Literacy. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the selected applicant’s bank account.

The objective of the NMMS Scholarship Scheme

The main objective of launching the NMMS Scholarship Scheme is to honor the meritorious students from classes 9th to 12th. The Government of India will provide financial assistance to all the selected applicants under this scheme. Financial incentives will be given to deserving students from the economically disadvantaged part of society under this scholarship scheme to reduce the dropout rate in class eight, which occurs because of the student’s financial situation. This scholarship scheme will encourage students to continue their studies at the secondary level. All the applicants who clear the eligibility criteria must fill out the application form on the official website.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be attending government, local government, or government-aided schools.
• The annual income of the applicant’s family must not exceed INR 3.5 Lakh.
• The applicant must have scored at least 50% marks in the board exam of class 10th.
• The applicant must complete class 11 on their first attempt with at least 55% of the required marks to maintain their scholarship for class 12.

• The last date to apply for the NMMS Scholarship 2024 is 09-02-2024.

Selection Process

• The applicants will you selected based on their clearance of eligibility criteria.
• Only the permanent residents of India will be selected for the NMMS Scholarship Scheme 2024.
• Only applicants for studying in government or government-added schools will be selected for the NMMS Scholarship 2024.
• The applicant must belong to the financially unstable section of society to be selected for the NMMS Scholarship 2024.
• If the annual income of the applicant’s family exceeds INR 3.5 lakh he will not be selected for the scheme.

NMMS Scholarship Scheme Online Registration

• To register for the NMMS Scholarship the applicant must go to the official NSP website.

• Click on the option New Registration On the homepage.

• On the new page read all the instructions and click on Continue.

• Fill out your mobile number and other details and click on verify.
• Now you have to log in using your credentials.
• You have to click on the option called Application Form.
• The application form will be displayed on the screen.
• Enter details including the State of Domicile, Name of the student, Date of Birth, Community/ Category, Father’s Name, Aadhaar card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Annual Family Income, Email ID, etc.
• You have to click on the option called “Save & Continue”.
• Upload the documents.
• You have to click on the option called “Final Submission’’
• The application form will be successfully submitted.

• To Login for the NMMS Scholarship, the applicant needs to go to the official website.
• On the homepage click on the option Institute login.

• A new page will appear on your screen.
• Fill out all the details that are asked.
• Click on the option login to complete your process.
