The Karnataka state government launched the Puneeth Rajkumar Hrudaya Jyoti Scheme 2024. To reduce the risks of heart attack and Cardiac arrests in Karnataka state the Department of Health of Karnataka state announced the launch of Puneeth Rajkumar Hrudaya Jyoti Scheme 2024. The Karnataka state government has a set of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in various public spaces and hub locations. These devices work on a spoke model, allowing for quick assistance in times of cardiac crisis while patients seek medical attention. By launching the scheme the Karnataka state government will reduce the time of the arrival of the ambulance for any Heart Attack or cardiac arrest.

Puneeth Rajkumar Hrudaya Jyoti Scheme Phase 2 Launched

The Ministry of Health of Karnataka state has started phase 2 of the Puneeth Rajkumar Hrudaya Jyoti Scheme. The phase 2 of the scheme was launched by the authorities in the Dharwad area of Karnataka. Under this phase, blood clot-dissolving Tenecteplase injections will be provided to all the spoke hospitals, which include both Taluk and a few district-level hospitals across the state. The injections are easy to use and understand by normal doctors and will help the patient within a few minutes after injected. 71 spoke and 11 hub hospitals Will be covered by the state authorities under phase 2 of the scheme.
