This scheme is going to motivate girls to pursue higher education. Other than that the status of women will also be improved in society. Parents will also be motivated to educate their girl children. Eligibility Of UP Bhagya Laxmi Yojana 2024

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh
• The annual family income of the applicant should not be more than Rs 2 lakh per year
• To get the benefit of this scheme the marriage of girl child should not happen before 18 years of age
• Only those daughters who are born after 31st March 2006 and belong to below poverty line criteria can take benefit of this scheme
