To get benefit from यूपी फ्री लैपटॉप योजना, it has been said that the applicant should have passed classes 10th and 12th with at least 65% marks. The government has allocated a budget of Rs 1800 crore for this scheme. No official of the Uttar Pradesh Government has confirmed this scheme. The Government of Uttar Pradesh has not started any such scheme. However, the Uttar Pradesh government has been implementing a UP-free smartphone/tablet scheme. Through this scheme smartphones and tablets are provided to the citizens of the state. But there is no scheme for the distribution of laptops.

Eligibility Of UP Free Laptop Yojana

The Government of Uttar Pradesh has not launched any scheme for providing free laptops. But information has been circulating among the citizens related to this scheme and the following eligibility criteria are being circulated:-

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh
• The applicant must have passed classes 10th and 12th
• Those students who have pursued polytechnic and ITI can also get benefit from this scheme

Through various sources, information is being circulated regarding the specifications of the laptop which are as follows:-

• The laptop will have window 10 installed on it
• MS Office will also be installed on the laptop
• RAM in the laptop will be 4GB and storage will be 1TB
• The display of the laptop will be 14 inches and the brightness will be 220 nits
• The weight of the laptop will be 1.5 kg
• The government will provide a power adapter along with a laptop
• Display of the laptop will be LED
• The battery life of the laptop will be of 10 hours

The government of Uttar Pradesh has not launched any such scheme
