Benefits Of West Bengal Free Tablet Scheme
An abundance of benefits will be provided for the people who are permanent residents of West Bengal State and have decided to apply for the West Bengal Free Tablet Scheme. The scheme is launch by the Chief Minister of the West Bengal State to provide financial opportunities to the people related to free tablets. Around 9.5 lakh students will be getting free tablets under this scheme. There are more than 36000 Government secondary schools that will provide the facility of free tablets to all of the beneficiaries. 14000 higher secondary schools and more than 600 madrasas will also be provided the benefit of this scheme. The students will be provided tablets for a lifetime and they will get an education through these facilities. A lot of other facilities will also be provided through the implementation of this scheme.
To apply for the scheme the applicants will have to follow the following eligibility criteria:-
- The applicant must be a resident of West Bengal State
- An applicant must be studying in a Government School or Government Aided School or Madrasah
- The applicant must be studying in Class 12th
- The annual income of the applicant from all sources must not exceed rupees 200000 per annum
- The applicant must have cleared all previous examinations
