The Chief Minister of Assam Mr Himanta Biswa launched Ayushman Asom-Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana 2023 on 10th May 2023. The aim of the yojana is to offer cashless treatment facilities to the citizens who enrolled under National Food Security Act ( NFS) to promote accessible and affordable healthcare. Under Ayushman Asom-Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, around 1578 healthcare treatments and 300 empanelled hospitals all around the state are covered. Now families who are suffering from any hazardous disorder will be able to do their treatment free of cost up to Rs. 5 lahks. Citizens who are not a part of Jan Arogya Yojna will be able to enrol themselves under this Ayushman Asom-Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana 2023.
