About Ayushman Asom-Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana 2024

The Chief Minister of Assam Mr Himanta Biswa launched Ayushman Asom-Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana 2024 on 10th May 2023. The yojana aims to offer cashless treatment facilities to the citizens who enrolled under the National Food Security Act ( NFS) to promote accessible and affordable healthcare. Under Ayushman Asom-Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, around 1578 healthcare treatments and 300 empanelled hospitals all around the state are covered. Now families who are suffering from any hazardous disorder will be able to do their treatment free of cost up to Rs. 5 lahks.  Citizens who are not a part of Jan Arogya Yojna will be able to enrol themselves under this Ayushman Asom-Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana 2023. This yojana will be proved as the greatest step towards the care of citizens and offering them financial assistance for treatment.

The objective of Ayushman Asom-Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana

There is families in Assam who suffer from multiple disorders and are helpless for their treatment due to unstable financial conditions. To help these needy people of the state the implementation of Ayushman Asom-Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana 2024 occurred on Monday by the CM of the state. Ayushman Asom-Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana aims to offer free treatment to each family every year up to Rd. 5 lakh. This is a huge amount which covers more than 32 lakh people under 300 empanelled hospitals. Eligibility Criteria

Citizens need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria before applying under the yojana: 

• Candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
• The candidate should belong to the National Food Security Act ( NFS).
• If you are not a part of Jan Arogya Yojana you will be able to enrol yourself under this Ayushman Asom-Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana 2023.
• Candidates should not be a part of Ayushman Bharat Yojana.
