A new portal is launched by the Government of Assam for the citizens to offer them a portal that provides them with all the land-related information from the convenience of their homes. Previously the Basundhara Portal was launched on 2nd October 2021. Now with some new additions, Mission Basundhara 2.0 Assam 2024 is started by the CM of Assam Himanta Biswa. The citizens do their online registration under the portal to access all the land services. The portal will provide faster delivery of information and create an easier business environment this will help in delays in updating land records. The implementation of Mission Basundhara 2.0 Assam 2024 is an online portal that covers all your land-related information such as Information about Occupier/Khaitan, Jamabandi search, a list of all the villages that need to be Resurveyed, and many more. This portal will provide you with the information easily without any time waste. You don’t have to go to any government office and stand in a queue. Objective of Mission Basundhara 2.0 Assam 2024

The Department of Revenue and Disaster Management, Government of Assam aims to create a digital map of Assam that will cover all the land-related information such as land transfer, land mutation and split between unopposed cases. Mission Basundhara aims to resolve land disputes in the state. The Assam government will now use drones to evaluate citizen land. Citizens will get easy access to all land services and will save time.

Services offered under Mission Basundhara 2.0 

The following seven land-related services will be made available through the Mission Basundhara 2.0 portal:

• Settlement of Khas and ceiling Surplus land
• Settlement of Occupancy Tenant
• Settlement of special cultivators
• Settlement of hereditary land of Tribal Communities
• Settlement of AP transferred land from original AP holder
• Regularisation of settlement of PGR VGR LAND
• Online payment of Land Revenue for villages under Tehsildar

Benefits and Features of Mission Basundhara 2.0 Assam

• Mr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam introduced Mission Basundhara 2.0 on 14th of November 2022.
• Now citizens don’t need to visit the Circle offices in their cities because all information will be accessible on their mobile devices and can be accessible by one click.
• The aim is to reduce the amount of obsolete property data and increase the efficiency of land revenue services.
• It is envisaged that carrying out the mission as described by the DILRMP will aid in achieving a variety of digital transformation goals.
• Both government workers and the general public are anticipated to benefit from transferring services like land record updates and land mutations online.
• The Mission Basundhara 2.0 will involve digitizing all of the state’s maps, possibly resolving discrepancies in land records, combining maps, and updating all land registration data.

• Death Certificate
• Next of kin certificate OR
• Certificate from gaon pradhan or ward member / Executive officer in case of Town OR
• Probate from the court in case of will OR
• Relationship Affidavit

Steps required for Registration under the Portal

Applicants need to follow the given instructions before registration:

• First you have to visit the Mission Basundhara website of Portal.

• The homepage will appear on your screen, here you have the Service option.

• Now a list of services will open in front of you. Where you have to select the service according to your preference.
• Here the related information and documents appear on your screen. Click on the Apply now button.
• A new page will open on your screen, enter your mobile number and captcha code.
• Now you will receive an OTP on your registered number. Enter the OTP and do your verification.
• Here a new page will open on your screen, where you need to fill the following details:
  • Land details
  • Documentation
  • Application information
  • Examin & Submit.
• After completing all these details click on the submit button to complete the process.

Steps to do Login under  Mission Basundhara 2.0

• Applicants first need to visit the official website of Portal.
• The home page will appear on your screen.
• On the homepage, you have to select the Login option on the right corner of the screen.
• After that here you will see various options for login such as:
  • Official
  • Svamitva
  • Survey
  • Resurvey
• Now choose the preferable option and then enter your Email Id or Password, or click on the Login button.

Steps to Track the Application Form 

• First you have to visit the official website of Portal.
• The homepage will appear on your screen, here you have to click on the Track Application Status option.

• A new page will appear on your screen, enter your Application Reference Number.
• After this click on the Track button to view the given details. 

Search Occupier\Khaitan

• First you have to visit the official website of Portal.
• The homepage will appear on your screen, here you have to click on the Search Occupier\Khaitan option.
• If you are an Occupier then select the given option:
  • select the district
  • select circle
  • select village
  • Name
  • Dag number
  • Captcha code
• After filling all these details click on the Search button. 
• All the details will appear on your screen.

How to Check the Jamabandi

• First you have to visit the official website of Portal.
• The homepage will appear on your screen, here you have to click on the Jamabandi option.
• A new page will open on your screen, where you have to fill the following details:
  • Select district
  • Village
  • Circle
  • First letter of village name
• After following all these details click on the submit button.

How to Find a list of all the villages that need to be Resurveyed

• Applicants first need to visit the official website of Portal.
• The website’s home page will appear on your screen.
• Here you have to select the option of Login, then a list of options appear from here you have to click on the Resurvey option.
• After that  you have to login under the Resurvey option, then you have to select the Option says List of village Resurveyed.

• Now a new page will appear on your screen, here you fill the following options:
  • District
  • Circle
  • Mouza
  • Village
• After selecting the given options, you need to click on the search button and all the relevant information appears on your screen.

Steps to Find a list of all the settlements that will be surveyed

• Applicants first need to visit the official website portal.
• The portal’s home page will appear on your screen.
• On the homepage you have to select the option of Login, then you need to click on the Survey option.
• As you login under the option you have to select the Option says Find the List of Surveyed Villages.

• A new page will appear on your screen, here you fill the following options:

  • Village
• After selecting the given options, you need to click on the search button and all the relevant information appears on your screen.
