Objective of Mission Basundhara 2.0 Assam 2024

The Department of Revenue and Disaster Management, Government of Assam aims to create a digital map of Assam that will cover all the land-related information such as land transfer, land mutation and split between unopposed cases. Mission Basundhara aims to resolve land disputes in the state. The Assam government will now use drones to evaluate citizen land. Citizens will get easy access to all land services and will save time.

Services offered under Mission Basundhara 2.0 

The following seven land-related services will be made available through the Mission Basundhara 2.0 portal:

  • Settlement of Khas and ceiling Surplus land
  • Settlement of Occupancy Tenant
  • Settlement of special cultivators
  • Settlement of hereditary land of Tribal Communities
  • Settlement of AP transferred land from original AP holder
  • Regularisation of settlement of PGR VGR LAND
  • Online payment of Land Revenue for villages under Tehsildar

  • Mr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam introduced Mission Basundhara 2.0 on 14th of November 2022.
  • Now citizens don’t need to visit the Circle offices in their cities because all information will be accessible on their mobile devices and can be accessible by one click.
  • The aim is to reduce the amount of obsolete property data and increase the efficiency of land revenue services.
  • It is envisaged that carrying out the mission as described by the DILRMP will aid in achieving a variety of digital transformation goals.

  • Certificate from gaon pradhan or ward member / Executive officer in case of Town OR

Applicants need to follow the given instructions before registration:

  • Now a list of services will open in front of you. Where you have to select the service according to your preference.
  • Here the related information and documents appear on your screen. Click on the Apply now button.
  • A new page will open on your screen, enter your mobile number and captcha code.
  • Now you will receive an OTP on your registered number. Enter the OTP and do your verification.
  • Here a new page will open on your screen, where you need to fill the following details:

    • Documentation
    • Application information
    • Examin & Submit.
  • After completing all these details click on the submit button to complete the process.

  • Applicants first need to visit the official website of Portal.
  • The home page will appear on your screen.
  • On the homepage, you have to select the Login option on the right corner of the screen.
  • After that here you will see various options for login such as:
  • Now choose the preferable option and then enter your Email Id or Password, or click on the Login button.

Steps to Track the Application Form 

  • First you have to visit the official website of Portal.
  • The homepage will appear on your screen, here you have to click on the Track Application Status option.

    • select village
    • Name
    • Dag number
    • Captcha code
  • After filling all these details click on the Search button.

How to Check the Jamabandi

  • First you have to visit the official website of Portal.
  • The homepage will appear on your screen, here you have to click on the Jamabandi option.
  • A new page will open on your screen, where you have to fill the following details:
    • Select district
    • Village
    • Circle
    • First letter of village name
  • After following all these details click on the submit button.

How to Find a list of all the villages that need to be Resurveyed

  • Applicants first need to visit the official website of Portal.
  • The website’s home page will appear on your screen.
  • Here you have to select the option of Login, then a list of options appear from here you have to click on the Resurvey option.
  • After that  you have to login under the Resurvey option, then you have to select the Option says List of village Resurveyed.
