About Mukhyamantri Krushi Udyog Yojana
Mukhyamantri Krushi Udyog Yojana is an initiative of the Government of Odisha under the state agriculture policy. The government is going to help in providing capital investment subsidies to agro entrepreneurs. This subsidy will provide only for the expansion or moderation of the existing entrepreneurs after 1 year of completion and successful operation of the enterprises. The scheme was launched on 1st June 2018 by the government of Odisha with the objective of providing is of doing agribusiness by process simplification of commercial agri enterprises.

Objective Of Mukhyamantri Krushi Udyog Yojana
The main objective of the Government of Odisha behind starting this scheme is to provide ease of doing business. The government is going to provide subsidies to the existing entrepreneurs in the agribusiness sector. The scheme has been started to boost the agree in the business sector by providing financial help to the farmers for establishing their businesses which will ultimately improve their standard of living. This came will generate self-employment and make the citizens self-dependent. Now entrepreneurs need not depend on other sources for raising funds to expand their business as the government is going to provide them funds for the expansion.
Benefits Of Mukhyamantri Krushi Udyog Yojana
- The scheme has been started by the State Government of Odisha under the state agriculture policy

- A pattern of assistant under the scheme is as follows
- General entrepreneurs will get 40% of the fixed capital investment which should not exceed 50 lakh excluding the cost of land
- SC/ST/Women/Persons with disability/graduates of agriculture and allied disciplines will get 50% of the fixed capital investment which should not exceed 50 lakh excluding the cost of land
- Group of individuals (registered FPO, FPC, FPG, NGO, SHG, PAC, LAMPCS, Farmers, cooperative societies, apex federations, companies registered under the companies act 2013 will get CIS to the tune of 40% limited to 50 lakh. (in case all member is women 50% will be given)
Process Flow Of Krushi Udyog Yojana 2023
- First, the block of Level officer is required to submit a feasible report within 15 days
- After submission of the report, the district nodal officer will submit a proposal before the district-level committee
- Collector come chairman will approve the report within 30 days and the district model officer will issue we go her head letter within 7 days with the validity of periods of 2 years
- APICAL will perform the online monitoring on the project
- After completion of the project, the entrepreneur have to submit the subsidy application
- The nodal officer will issue a completion certificate within 15 days of receipt of the application
- The bank will perform an evaluation within 30 days after the completion certificate issued
- The district-level committee will approve the subsidy amount thereafter
Eligible Enterprise
- Integrated rice mill
- Biogas plant for harnessing energy
- Any field crop which is having less than 1-year duration under normal conditions
- Units for cutting raw tobacco and sprinkling for chewing purposes and gudka manufacturing unit etc

- Registered FPO, FPC, FPG, NGO, SHG, PAC, LAMPCS

- Apex federations
- Companies registered under the companies act 2013
- In case of a group of applicants to office bearers who are duly authorized by the executive body will act as applicants
- The minimum age of the applicant is 18 years
- All those centres who are undertaking cage culture fisheries in the reservoir can avail the benefit of this scheme on lease period allowed under the cage culture policy of the government
- Individual applicants or groups of applicants should have the project land in the name of the entrepreneur/spouse or leased in land for a period of minimum 15 years

Application Procedure For Establishment Of Commercial Agri Enterprise
- To apply for the establishment of a commercial Agri enterprise you have to visit the official website
- From the home page of the portal, you have to choose MKUY guidelines
- Then choose revised MKUY Guidelines and the PDF file will open on the screen
- In the PDF you will get the annexure A section
- You need to enter all the required details like title of the name of the applicant, date of birth, educational qualification etc.
- Then you have to attach all the required documents and submit the application to the concerned department

- To register you have to visit the official website of the agriculture promotion and investment Corporation of Odisha
- From home page of the portal, go to the apply option and you have to choose register now option
- A new page will open on the screen from where you have to select registration
- The registration form will appear on the screen
