PM Kisan Objective

- To get the benefits farmers should have an Aadhaar card. Without an Aadhaar card, no one is going to get the benefits of the scheme.
- Aadhaar eKYC is mandatory to receive the benefits
- Only those farmers with two hector or five acres of cultivable land will get the benefits
- Instead of visiting accountants and agriculture authorities to register themselves now, farmers can register by using the online portal
- The government started the Kisan credit card program in the year 1998, which is now tied to the PM Kisan Yojana
- To get the Kisan credit card, the farmers have to apply for the Kisan Saman Nidhi Yojana. Farmers need not submit any additional documents.
