For people in their old age and widowed women, there are numerous pension schemes available in India to assist them financially. The minister further disclosed that DESW has given the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF) Rs 320 crore to finish outstanding applications for Raksha Pension Shikayat Nivaran Portal, including education for ESM dependent children and grants for widows to get married. 1,66,471 ESMs will gain from this (the allotment of Rs 320 crore). The minister added that 22,278 job letters have been sent out by the Directorate General of Rehabilitation. Numerous military pensioners, both present and future, will benefit from the platform.

The majority of the 60k Armed Forces personnel who retire or are released from active duty each year are between the ages of 35 and 45. The webpage is intended to help these defense pensioners or ex-servicemen and their dependents with their issues. Ex-servicemen can use the platform to submit their issues, such as requests for education and marriage benefits for ESM widows and veteran-dependent children. An application on the portal will automatically create and send SMS and email to the applicants at the registered cellphone number and email address, informing them of the registration of their complaint and allowing them to follow its status. Additionally, applicants may offer feedback to enhance the effectiveness of grievance resolution. Nearly 25 lakh military retirees, both current and future, may use this site.

How to file a grievance on the Defense Pension Grievance Redressal Portal

• The Defense Pension Grievance Redressal Portal must be accessed first. The Pension Shikayat Nivaran website will remain active.

• Two alternatives for the Grievance Registration Form will show up in front of you as soon as you click.

• The complaint registration form will then appear in front of you after that.
• You must now carefully fill out this form with all the requested information.
• After providing all the necessary data, you must select the retirement choice.

• You must select the submit button once you have finished the entire process.
