The online registration for the SWAYAM Plus Portal is now available online. The Union Minister of Education of India Mr Dharmendra Pradhan announced the launch of the SWAYAM Plus Portal for all the students and teachers of colleges in India. The Government of India launched this portal to help students in colleges get real-world knowledge as well as academic knowledge in colleges. This innovative platform, developed in partnership with leading industry players such as Microsoft, Cisco, and L&T, aims to offer courses tailored to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world skills.

What is the SWAYAM Plus Portal?

To increase the employability of both the teachers and students in colleges across India the Government of India along with the union Ministry of Education announce the launch of the SWAYAM Plus Portal. Various courses will be provided under the Portal by the authorities. The courses will span a diverse range of fields including manufacturing, energy, computer science and engineering, IT/ITES, management studies, healthcare, hospitality, and tourism, reflecting the multifaceted needs of the global job market. The portal will be managed by the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, a pioneer in the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) platform and a founding member of Swayam-NPTEL, SWAYAM Plus is set to revolutionize online learning

The objective of SWAYAM Plus Portal

The main objective of launching the SWAYAM Plus Portal is to provide learning and personality development opportunities to all the students and teachers in India. The SWAYAM Plus platform introduces several innovative features to enhance the learning experience, including credit recognition for academic progress, multilingual content to cater to a wider audience, and an AI-enabled chatbot designed to support students throughout their learning journey. With the help of this portal, the students of India will get a chance to learn various courses and skills online by just sitting at their homes. The applicant must fill outer registration form to avail of the benefits of the Portal.
