Bihar Caste Census Report was released by the Nitish Kumar government on 2nd October 2023. The individual state population is above 13 crore right now. Bihar is one of the largest and the most highly populated states in India after Uttar Pradesh. The Bihar caste census population report was done recently. According to the report that was done, it is revealed that 27.1% of the population belongs to the underprivileged classes. 36% of people belong to the EBC category while 19.7% are from SC and 1.7% people are from the ST category in the Bihar state. Importance of Bihar Caste Census Report
Bihar Caste Census Report was done to provide proper information about the total number of people who belong to the different castes in categories available in the Bihar state. the Bihar government began the caste survey on 7th January 2023. There are currently 38 districts available in Bihar state. All the financial circumstances of the families were noted down during this survey. The ongoing survey collected all the major information about the people living in urban and rural areas of Bihar. All the different castes and categories from the Hindu religion. As well as the caste and categories presented by the government such as EBC, SC or ST were taken into account while preparing the report. Objective of Caste Census Report PDF
