LABHA Scheme for Tribals Launched by Odisha Government

LABHA Scheme for Tribals was launched by the State Government of Odisha. To help the tribal population in Odisha state Odisha state government launched the LABHA scheme. The Scheme was launched to help more than 1 crore citizens of Odisha state or 23% of the total population in the Odisha state. The Government of Odisha state has put up a minimum support price (MSP) for forest minor produce. With the help of this scheme, the citizens of Odisha state who are involved in forest minor produce will not face any loss in the Odisha state. This scheme will help the tribal people in the Odisha state.

About LABHA Scheme

To help the citizens of Odisha state who are involved in forest minor produce work the Odisha state government launched the Laghu Bana Jatya Drabya Kraya Scheme. The LABHA scheme will provide a minimum support price to all the workers in Odisha state who are involved in forest minor produce work. The scheme is a 100% state-funded scheme for the implementation of minimum support prices. With the help of this scheme, more than 1 crore citizens of Odisha state will be impacted positively. The price for the MSP will be determined by the Odisha state government every year.

The objective of LABHA Scheme

The main objective of the scheme is to provide minimum support prices to the citizens of Odisha state who are involved in the forest minor produce work. With the help of the scheme, the citizens of Odisha state can sell their produce at a minimum support price implemented by the Odisha state government. The citizens of Odisha state can go to the nearest TDCCOL center to sell their minor forest produce at a minimum support price set up by the state government. With the help of this scheme, more than 23% of Odisha’s population will be benefited.
