• Candidates who have got provisional assurance must get an unequivocal offer of admission within one year.
• If the candidate does not receive an unconditional offer of admission within the stipulated time frame, the assurance will be immediately terminated, and no request for assurance extension will be considered.

Duration of National Overseas Scholarship Award

The financial help under the National Overseas Scholarship shall grant until the course/research is complete or until the following time, whichever comes first:

• 4 years of PhD
• 3 years for a master’s degree

The extension of stay would consider without any financial support other than the return flight to India.
