PM 2 Crore Awas Yojana 2024: How to Apply Online

PM 2 Crore Awas Yojana 2024 was introduced in the union budget 2024-25. To provide permanent houses to the financially unstable citizens of India the Government of India introduce 2 crores more houses under the PM Awas Yojana. The Finance Minister of India Mrs Nirmala Sitaraman introduced 2 crore more houses under the PM Awas Yojana. All the applicants who clear the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form on the official website. All the applicants who will get selected under the PM Awas Yojana 2024 will get permanent houses from the Government of India.

About PM 2 Crore Awas Yojana

All the citizens of India who are left from the previous PM Aawas Yojana the Government of India introduced 2 crore more houses under the scheme. The citizens of India who want to avail the benefits of PM Aawas Yojana can fill out the application form to avail the new houses that are introduced in the PM Aawas Yojana. The finance minister of India introduced 2 crores more households under the PM Awas Yojana. With the help of these more houses, the applicants can apply for this scheme and get a permanent house from the Government of India. Objective of PM 2 Crore Awas Yojana

To help the citizens of India who do not have a house the Government of India introduced more households under the PM Awas Yojana. The government introduced 2 crores more houses under the PM Awas Yojana to help the financially unstable citizens. All the applicants who clear the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form on the official website to avail the benefits of PM Awas Yojana. With the help of PM Aawas Yojana the financially unstable citizens who do not afford a house will get a permanent house from the Government of India. 

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must belong to a homeless family
• Families whose houses have zero, one or two rooms with kutcha walls and kutcha roof.
• Household in which there is no literate adult above 25 years of age.
• Households in which there is no adult male member in the age group of 16 to 59 years.
• Household with no adult member aged between 16 and 59 years.
• A family in which people are disabled.
• Applicants must belong to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Others, and Minority, Families.

Implementation Process

• The scheme will be implemented to help the financially unstable citizens.
• The scheme is being implemented through four verticals: Beneficiary Led Construction/ Enhancement (BLC), Affordable Housing in Partnership (AHP), In-situ Slum Redevelopment (ISSR) and Credit credit-linked subsidy Scheme (CLSS).
• The applicants must fill out the application form to avail the benefits of this scheme.
• The scheme will be implemented after the release of the Union Budget 2024.

How to Apply for PM 2 Crore Awas Yojana Online?

• To apply for scheme online the applicant can go to the Awas Yojana website.

• On the home page click on the option ‘Benefits under other 3 components’ option by clicking the ‘Citizen Assessment‘ dropdown.
• Enter your Aadhaar number and click Submit. 
• The application form will appear on your screen.
• Fill out all the details that are asked and attach all the necessary documents.
• Click on the option Submit to complete your process.
