About Shetkari Sanman Yojana Maharashtra
Shetkari Sanman Yojana Maharashtra has been launched to improve the financial condition of the farmers. Under the scheme financial assistance is offered to the farmers. The amount of this financial assistance is Rs 6000 per annum. This scheme has been started on 9th March 2023. The chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde announced to launch of this scheme during his budget speech for the year 2023-24. The government has started this scheme based on Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The amount of financial assistance under this scheme will be provided directly into the bank account of the beneficiary. All the beneficiaries will be eligible to receive a total of 12000 ( Rs 6000 per annum from Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and Rs 6000 per annum from Shetkari Samman Yojana )
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra
- Only farmers will be able to avail benefits of this scheme
- The farmer should have his own land
- Farmers should be registered under the Department of farmers
- The bank account of the farmer should be linked with an Aadhar card
