Telangana Mahila Shakti Scheme 2024: Benefits, Eligibility and Application Process

The Telangana state government launched the Telangana Mahila Shakti Scheme 2024. To Provide financial assistance to the financially unstable female citizens of Telangana state the state government launched the Telangana Mahila Shakti Scheme 2024. A total of 63.86 lakh female citizens of the self-help group across Telangana state will get financial assistance under this scheme. Under the Mahila Shakti Scheme 2024, financial assistance of INR 5 lakh for life insurance coverage will be given to the selected applicants. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the selected applicant’s bank account. The applicants can fill out the application form on the official website.

The objective of Telangana Mahila Shakti Scheme

To increase the standard of living and the social status of the female citizens belonging to the self-help group in Telangana state the Telangana state government announced the launch of the Telangana Mahila Shakti Scheme. The main aim of this Scheme is to empower women in Telangana by enabling them to go from being mere participants in SHGs to successful enterprises and by giving them access to jobs and financial empowerment. With the help of financial assistance, female citizens did not have to depend on anyone for their daily expenditures. The applicants must fill out the application form on the official website to avail the benefits of this scheme.

Incentive Covered Under Mahila Shakti Scheme

Under the scheme, the Telangana state government will provide an incentive of INR 5 lakh for life insurance coverage. A total of 63.86 lakh female citizens of Telangana state will avail the benefits of this life insurance coverage. The members of the self-help group are also eligible to get loans under this plan at no interest. The loan of the self-help group member will be forgiven in case of natural or accidental death. The insurance coverage under the Telangana Mahila Shakti Yojana 2024 will provide a safety net for their families.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be a woman.
• The applicant must belong to Telangana state.
• The applicant must belong to a self-help group.
• The applicant must not be working in any government offices.

• A total of 63.86 lakh beneficiaries will avail the benefits of the Mahila Shakti Scheme 2024.
