Mukhyamantri Baristha Bunkar Karigar Sahayata Yojana 2024 was launched by the Odisha state government. All the permanent residents of Odisha state who are involved in weavers and handicraft artisans workers are eligible to avail the benefits of Baristha Bunkar Karigar Sahayata Yojana 2024. Under this scheme, the Odisha state government will provide financial assistance to both males and females who are senior weavers and handicraft workers in the Odisha state. With the help of financial assistance weavers and handicraft workers can continue their work without worrying about financial troubles. To protect and showcase the Heritage of Weavers and handicraft workers in the Odisha state the Odisha state government launched the Mukhyamantri Baristha Bunkar Karigar Sahayata Yojana. The Odisha Government will provide financial assistance to both male and female weavers and handicraft workers of Odisha state. Under this scheme, financial assistance of INR 2,000 per month will be provided to female weavers, weaving assistants, and artisans in the age group of 40 to 80 years and male weavers and weaving assistants and artisans in the age group of 50 to 80 years. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the selected applicant’s bank account.

• The applicant’s name must be registered as weavers and helpers engaged in weaving and handicrafts in the survey list prepared by the Director of Textiles and Director of Handicrafts.
• The annual income of the applicant’s family must not exceed INR 1 lakh.
• The applicant must not have been a beneficiary of any corresponding scheme by the State Government or the Central Government.
• The applicant must not be a Government servant, taxpayer or pensioner of the Central or State Government.
• Only one person from a family can get benefits under this scheme.
