Before the election in Telangana state, the Congress party launched a Manifesto where they introduced 6 different schemes for the citizens of Telangana state. Now to avail the benefits of all these schemes the Telangana citizens have to apply for a Praja Palan Ration Card. The Praja Palan ration card works as a medium between citizens and the Government of Telangana.  To avail the benefits of schemes launched by the state government Telangana citizens must fill out the application form and submit it to the authorities. The last date to apply for the Praja Palana ration Card is 6 January 2024.

What is Praja Palana Scheme?

The Praja Palan scheme is also called the Abhaya Hastham Scheme or Six Guarantee Scheme. Under the Praja Palan schemes the citizens of Telangana state can avail many different benefits from the state government of Telangana. All the permanent citizens of Telangana state can avail the benefits of the Praja Palan scheme. The Praja Palan scheme application will start on 28 December 2023. All the citizens of Telangana state will get subsidized Gas cylinders, financial assistance and free electricity for up to 200 units under the Praja Palan scheme. All the female citizens of Telangana state who are single head of the house will get financial assistance up to INR 2500 per month.

• The scheme is only available to the permanent citizens of Telangana state.
