Andhra Pradesh YSR Kalyanamasthu Scheme has been launched by the government of Andhra Pradesh. Under the scheme financial assistance is provided to girls belonging to SC, ST, BC, and disabled and construction worker families. The government has disbursed Rs 78.53 crore as financial assistance into the accounts of 10132 couples who got married during the October – December 2023 period. To avail benefit of this scheme the bride and groom must have passed class 10th. Other than that the age of the bride should be at least 18 years and the groom should be 21 years. This scheme will also motivate citizens to pursue education. Other than that early marriages can also be stopped

Government Disbursed Rs 78.53 Amount under YSR Kalyanamasthu

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has disbursed Rs 78.53 crore as financial assistance under the YSR Kalyanamasthu scheme. This financial assistance has been disbursed into the bank account of more than 10000 couples who got married during the October – December 2023 period. This financial assistance has been provided to the poor parents to perform their children’s marriage in a dignified manner. The government has so far disbursed Rs 427.27 crore under this scheme. With the implementation of this scheme, beneficiaries will not be required to depend on anyone to bear their marriage expenses. The Government of Andhra Pradesh is going to make expenses available to them.

Eligibility Criteria

• The application must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh
• Both bride and groom should be at least 10th pass
• The age of the bride should be 18 years or more
• The age of the groom should be 21 years or more

• First of all, you have to go to the Official Navasakam Beneficiary Website of NBM
• The home page will appear on your screen
• On the home page, you are required to click on Check application status

• You will be redirected to a new page
• On this page, you have to enter your UID number
• Now you have to select your scheme and year
• After that, you have to click on send OTP
• Now you will receive an OTP with you have to enter into the OTP box
• After that, you have to click on Check status
• Required information will be on your computer screen
